![]() ![]() This was something really difficult to pen down because of the emotional attachment, avoid the errors if any. Perhaps, they would be admiring me somewhere in the heaven. Indeed, love is not to be expressed by words, it is something straight from the heart connecting to the other heart. I realized what love is when I saw my grandma getting lonely after my grandpa's death. I loved the way, when my grandpa used to ask about grandma as soon as he used to enter the house. I never saw them yelling, quarrelling or cribbing at each other. She was bedridden on the hospital bed but was overjoyed when she got to know my twelfth result and few days after that, she got seizures and we couldn't save her. I cherished lifelong memories and she left the world after I completed my twelfth. When I first made paranthas in my life, I missed her a lot and the best compliment I received was, "your paranthas tastes like that of mummy", from my maternal aunt. I learnt cooking by watching her in the kitchen and trust me, she is the only one whom I had helped in the kitchen. I loved to see my grandma cooking in the kitchen and I loved her desi ghee paranthas.□□□ □□□□ She had enjoyed her childhood indeed□□□ She had spent her childhood in the secure government quarters because her father was working with Survey of India and her stories were truly awesome. ![]() I wonder how would have she reacted over ongoing pandemic. I remember she used to tell me how plaque hit Hyderabad and how terrible Spanish flu was and as a child I shrugged and said, "Nani, don't worry medical science is advanced now". I loved listening to her and learning about life. □□□Īs a kid, I admired my nani who was simple lady with lots of wisdom and knowledge.□□□ Life was beautiful with him and void remains forever. I remember crying during my English literature exam while the writing my paper as I missed him terribly. I remember I had my class eighth final exams, when my grandpa left to heavenly abode and it was terrible for me to cope with. The wonderful man explained me about life and imparted his wisdom giving me memories to cherish and good habits to cultivate. I learnt to respect everyone and be a sensible yet, sensitive person from him.□□□Īs a retired defence official, my grandpa was a self-made man and I want to be like him. I learnt discipline, value of life, spirituality, value of money, value of people, generosity and every quality I developed from my grandpa. When I was a little kid, I loved to spend my mornings with my nanaji who used to take me for a stroll daily and we used to come back with delicacies for me, chocolates and stuff. I am talking about none other than my nani and nanaji (maternal grandparents) □ The couple is indeed, close to my heart and always admired the bonding they had as I grew up. Together they formed a lovely couple who taught me the beauty of life. □ Lastly, a smile on someone's face because of me! It gives satisfaction too.Today, I will tell you about two people whom I miss terribly in my life. Come join and write with me I decided to separate this one of course, for the memories na rin.
